Sky Heavers believes the best approach to cost estimating is based on the early establishment of a project budget by the owner and the A/E. Using our extensive database, Sky Heavers produces detailed quantity takeoffs for projects at the order of magnitude or conceptual design phase, basing the takeoff on the project’s individual components. At progressive stages during design, the A/E provides the design documents to the estimator. All components are priced individually by labor, material/equipment and local subcontractor costs.
